Canadians Coming On Strong with PMI’s OPM3® Certification!
Toronto, Canada (22 May, 2007) – DNV (Det Norske Veritas), a world leader in certification services, has certified a group of internationally based OPM3 assessors and consultants. The certification program is a product of a strategic alliance with DNV and Project Management Institute (PMI®).

While the United States maintains in the top spot by a wide margin at 55% of the total followed by The Netherlands with 11%, Canada is coming on strong with the issuance of 3 additional OPM3 Certificates during the month of May, 2007. This brings the Canadians percentage of the whole to 10%.
Companies such as Siemens, Volkswagen, and Applied Materials see the obvious benefits of improving project and program management processes – and ultimately – the company performance. Noted benefits include:

OPM3 is the acronym for organizational project management maturity model and is a global standard developed by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
